Bouinaniyya Clock 350 m

Solar clock located opposite the Medersa Bouanania. It was built in the 14th century by the Andalusian mathematician Abu Abdellah Mohammed Al-Issoufi Al-Bouinani. The clock is known for its accuracy in measuring time, especially for the Muslim prayer. It is also famous for its beauty and its blue and green ceramic decoration. The Bouinaniyya clock is considered one of the architectural treasures of the city of Fez and is an impressive example of the technology and craftsmanship of the medieval period. Today, it is a popular tourist attraction and is still used as a tool for measuring time.

Batha Square and Museum 600m

The Batha Museum is located in the Batha Palace, which was built in the 19th century for Sultan Moulay Hassan. The palace was converted into a museum in 1915.

Meknes is a 17th century imperial city located near Volubilis and Moulay Idriss. It was founded by Sultan Moulay Ismaïl and became an important cultural and commercial centre.
